EVENT: CASA of the Heartland Informational Evening

CASA of the Heartland is excited to announce the dates of our
Summer Informational Evening and Training. Choose to serve as a Volunteer
Advocate for abused and neglected children under the protection of the Hardin
County Family Court.
Join CASA of the Heartland at United Way of Central Kentucky (604 N Main
Street in Elizabethtown) on Tuesday, June 20th to learn how
you can help a children who are abused and neglected. Family Court Judge Pamela
Addington will serve as the guest speaker.
Training will be held
at the CASA office on 245 W. Dixie Avenue in Elizabethtown beginning Tuesday, July 18th and ending on Saturday, July
29th with light refreshments provided during weeknight classes and breakfast
and lunch provided on both Saturdays. If you are not able to attend this
training, or have other training conflicts, please feel free to contact us. You
must be 21 years of age or older to serve as a CASA Volunteer Advocate.
There are 156 children on the
wait-list for a CASA volunteer, a consistent person in their lives, someone to
advocate for their needs and best interests. Please contact CASA of the
